The Bikers in Paradise Show will take place at the Paradise Wildlife Park on Sunday 26th April 2009.
This should be a great day-out for all the family and we would encourage everyone to come along and help make the show a success. It is a not-for-profit event with all proceeds going to the Herts Air Ambulance and the Wildlife Heritage Foundation. There will be a large number of retail stands including SBW Motorrad, Predator Motorsport, Motor Cycles & Moore, Hein Gericke, MAD Products, GLR Scooters, Evolution Training, Girlsbike2, Enigma UK, Norton Way Honda, The Bike Pavilion, Bykatryka, A & M Motorcycles, Cysticals, Morgotha Silver, Fat Maggot T Shirts and many more. We are also pleased that the Air Ambulance, the Driving Standards Agency, the IAM, the Highways Agency, MAG and the Bloodrunners will be attending. Most of the Bike Clubs in the region will be also be there. On the entertainment side we have 80s pop sensations Modern Romance providing live music, supported by electro girl band Red Blood Women, and electric rhythm and blues trio Ain't Life a Bitch. We have celebrity guests, with Speedway and track stars, past and present, Gillian Taylforth (Eastenders and The Bill), Ray Quinn (X-Factor and Dancing on Ice), and other surprise appearances. There will be riding and bike competitions, raffles, auctions, dancing and an exciting performance from one of the UK's leading stunt riders. And to cap it all, entry to the show includes access to the zoo, with a fantastic range of animals including an outstanding collection of big cats, the children's adventure world, as well as the other on-site attractions such as the UK Speedway Museum Hertfordshire Police and Hertfordshire Road Safety will be running FREE Bikesafe assessments at the show, but it is advisable to book in advance for a place (call 01992 556800). If you want to take a chance on the day, make sure you have all your paperwork with you (insurance, MOT etc). And on the day there will be substantial discounts available for anyone who wishes to sign up for advanced training by the IAM. Tickets are £9.50 in advance (£6 for children and pensioners) and £14.00 on the gate (£11 for children/pensioners).
